ABOUT_US.TXT — We're obsessed with the exact window between 1997 and 2000, when computers got friendly and the internet got weird. Rounded windows, loud color, cursors with personality.
We use that toolbox on purpose, not out of nostalgia. It's still some of the best design language ever shipped: high contrast, obvious affordances, zero pretension. We just point it at 2026 problems.
Five designers and developers, one shared folder of 2000s desktop wallpapers, based wherever the wifi holds.

How we got here
2019
DIALUP is founded
Two designers, one dial-up modem sound as a ringtone, zero clients. We build our own site first — twice — before we let anyone see it.
2021
First big swing
Nebula Records hires us for a full rebrand. The vinyl packaging wins us our first award and our first repeat client.
2023
Studio grows to five
We add motion design and front-end development in-house, so brand systems don't fall apart the second they hit a browser.
2026
Still loading, on purpose
